New Year in hospital

Pretty much happened. My grandfather was admitted to Singapore General Hospital after the check-up. On Thursday I was supposed to wake up and go to the hospital with the rest but I overslept. Or rather, I was really tired to wake up. My sister didn't manage to wake up as well. So later in the morning we got ourselves ready and waited for my mother to come fetch us. I gave my mother a call and heard her sniffing over the phone. I wasn't expecting good news. And that day we had planned to go cycling after accompanying my grandfather for his check-up, assuming that he would be all right.
My mother, Aunt Grace and my grandmother stayed at the hospital till mid afternoon, before going off to fetch Weiyi and Weihui (they slept at 5AM the day before, obviously they'd oversleep), then me and my sister.
When we reached SGH, Blk 4, Ward 48, Room 26, Bed 5, saw Weiying, Weijing, Joel and Aunt Jenny there. My grandfather went for an X-ray. Yeah, after he came back, he was in bed all the time 'cause he's too weak to even walk. For the fear that he'd fall like he did the day just before he was admitted to the hospital. He was rather hot-tempered and sort of vented his anger on Aunt Jenny. Saw tears in her eyes for several times. Before going off, the family prayed for my grandfather. Oh my, Weiyi so steady!
We went home after having dinner at Tampines, Aunt Jenny stayed overnight at the hospital I think. Me, Weiyi, Weihui and my sister had McDonalds. After that we walked to their house to pack some clothes 'cause they're coming to our house for the night. When we reached home, I had to sleep 'cause there was CCAO the day after. Urgh, Weiyi and Emily slept at 3AM and Weihui slept at 6AM. I was about to wake up when Weihui went to bed today.
This morning I woke up at 7.30AM and left house at 8.25AM. My mother got lost on her way to RGS but luckily she got there on time at 8.59AM. My shift was the first one from 9-10AM. The chairperson asked us to reach earlier. There wasn't anything to do but act as photocopiers and write name cards for those interested. I didn't entertain any parents/ students. After that my mother brought me to Expo to buy some stuff from the sales and had breakfast there. Went to fetch Jeriel and Gaudie (I just knew that Gaudie's name wasn't Goodie or Goldilocks. It is Gaudencia. Nice name!), and went to home to get the three lazy asses who were still pigging. My mother went to Marine Parade area to pass things to Uncle Gary. So we landed at Tanjong Rhu Road. I seldom go there ever since I moved to Seng Kang from Fort Road. Fort Road's only a 1-minute walk to Dunman High, could have gone to that school if I had not moved. My sister wanted to eat Tanjong Rhu Paos. Me, Weihui and her went to buy, and we got pop icicles. Haven't eaten them since don't know when.
My mother went to her office to get cheques and then we went to SGH. My grandfather was still as weak. He wanted to take a walk, so we brought him downstairs. That was after the nurses helped him on the wheelchair with much effort. My grandfather wanted to eat Delifrance's tuna sandwich and drink Cappuccino. He ate a little bit of tuna, and then said he wanted to sleep, without even drinking a sip of Cappuccino. In the end we didn't really walk around, he went back to his ward and slept all the way. I bought a cheesecake to the ward and finished it after an hour. So I never saw my grandfather wake up since he went back from the supposed walk. I spent my time watching the television, loitering at food courts and 7-11. Had dinner with my cousins at 7-11, surrounding this super small table eating cup noodles. Then the doctor told our mothers the results of the X-ray, he said that he can choose to undergo another round of chemology, but it'd be very painful. If he was my grandfather's son, he wouldn't let him. So does this mean we are supposed to sit around and watch him die? All my uncles and aunts didn't want to let him undergo the treatment, the success rate is only 20-30%. Guess this is life, we will die eventually- by illness or age.
We went home at 10PM, after having been at the hospital for eight hours.
Jeriel bleached his hair golden and now he looks so anime-ish. Random.
Gonna go to the hospital again tomorrow at a later time 'cause my mother hasn't cleaned the house for donkey years and it's rotting. Aunt Lillian's coming back tomorrow at 8PM.
